The hotel tradition of the Zacchera family dates back to 1873. Today, 150 years later, the Hotel Splendid is still a gem of elegance, warm atmosphere and thoughtful hospitality. The only hotel in the Borromean Gulf with a private beach, the Splendid also has its own dock. The restaurant with its veranda offering panoramic views and the bar opening onto the 'piazzetta', directly overlooking the shores of the lake, together with the renowned wellness centre, make the Hotel Splendid a unique destination. Most of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the magnificent views of Baveno and Lake Maggiore. They are well cared for and equipped with bathtub or shower/wc, direct dial telephone, minibar, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, air conditioning from 15/06 to approximately 15/09, wi-fi (1 GB free). For a better welcome, please specify the type of bed you require when booking. Hotel Splendid also has no less than seven meeting rooms, so it also offers a service for organising business meetings and congresses, accommodating up to one hundred and fifty people. It is the ideal location for an open-air wedding in its beautiful garden with its terraces lit by the sun or moonlight and its private beach on the shore of Lake Maggiore.
