Grimaud is a picturesque medieval village located in the Var department, on a hill overlooking the famous Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Its narrow cobbled streets are lined with old stone houses and pastel-coloured buildings typical of Provence. In the centre are the ruins of an 11th-century castle, offering panoramic views of the gulf and surrounding hills, while an old windmill, the Moulin Saint-Roch, adds charm to the hilly landscape. Grimaud is surrounded by the natural landscape typical of the Massif des Maures, with oak and pine forests and rolling hills.
