Arles is an ancient Roman city dotted with numerous treasures. Numerous Roman ruins can be found in this fascinating place. The historic centre and its famous arenas, the best-preserved Roman amphitheatre in France and the ancient theatre are just some of the reasons to discover the city. Vincent Van Gogh lived here, and a visit to his foundation is highly recommended. Arles was one of his favourite places for a long time, and it was here that he painted some of his most famous works. Arles is also a city of tradition: the Feria de Arles is very famous, an annual event full of entertainment with concerts, races, bullfights and many other attractions. The town is just a few kilometres from the Camargue Natural Park, where guests can discover unique nature with its marshes, rich exceptional wildlife with pink flamingos, horses and bulls, not to mention its Provençal inspirations, the numerous small Provençal markets where you can discover the flavours and smells of local products. Located 4 km from Arles, the Village covers 35 hectares.
