The hotel tradition of the Zacchera family dates back to 1873. Today, 150 years later, the Hotel Splendid is still a gem of elegance, warm atmosphere and thoughtful hospitality. The only hotel in the Borromean Gulf with a private beach, the Splendid also has its own dock. The restaurant with its veranda offering panoramic views and the bar opening onto the 'piazzetta', directly overlooking the shores of the lake, together with the renowned wellness centre, make the Hotel Splendid a unique destination. Most of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the magnificent views of Baveno and Lake Maggiore.
