The heart of the village is the splendid Agenzia di Pollenzo, an impressive complex commissioned by King Charles Albert of Savoy in the 19th century, which reflects the royal family's strong connection to agriculture and the land. A place of great historical and architectural value, today it is also known for hosting the University of Gastronomic Sciences, created to promote the local heritage food and the gastronomic traditions of the world. Walking among the brick buildings, towers, courtyards, and the charming square, you can feel an atmosphere from another time, where every corner tells a story. Pollenzo is also a privileged gateway to the world of the Langhe: a land full of vineyards, castles, medieval villages, great wines, and authentic flavors. Albergo dell’Agenzia was born from a Slow Food idea and is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the pleasures of the palate in an unusual but definitely pleasant. It's located within the complex, which houses the University of Gastronomic Sciences and the Wine Bank, and is the result of the restoration of the historic neo-Gothic buildings of the Pollenzo Agency of King Charles Albert. It features a restaurant, bar, summer pool, private garage, meeting rooms for up to 200 people, all set in a two-hectare park.
It has a relaxing Wellness area and offers rooms with minibar, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a sitting area.
